The product.
STC NETWORK It is currently the most efficient technology available to reduce reliance on fossil fuels in heat generation for industrial processes and heating and domestic hot water needs for commercial and residential buildings. Thanks to the fact that it exceeds 88% efficiency in relation to its catchment area (4.3 m2), it helps to fight climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, like no other product. commercial has achieved so far, generating more energy per square meter than any of the traditional flat collectors.
Given the fact that the heat required for these processes currently represents more than 40% of global energy consumption and that there is no low-carbon heat generation solution in the industries, Thermal cooling technology has developed this unitary scalable solar concentrator that is easy to install; achieve production costs below €30/Mwh.
This solution is applicable for industrial processes (textile, food, chemical and livestock, among others), sanitary, educational, residential and commercial (domestic hot water and heating), and even refrigeration.
The business.
Thermal cooling technology It has already started its marketing plan in Spain, through authorized installers, with installations in Covex, Hotel Fontecruz (Ávila) and Renfe, with the aim of closing 2020 with more than 1,000 units installed. Outside of Spain, it has business partners in India, the United States and the Netherlands, where there are already more than 1,500 installed for different types of customers.
Due to the high cost of heating, spa and hot water in a hotel, we decided to install TCT RED to reduce the diesel bill. The 4 parabolas, installed in our hotel in Ávila, complement the 2 boilers, allowing them to reduce their operation, achieving great energy and economic savings.

The team formed by Thermal Cooling Technology has more than 30 years of national and international experience in research on renewable energies. Marcelo Izquierdo, researcher at the CSIC (Higher Center for Scientific Research) and honorary professor at Carlos III University, who was already part of the research groups of the Center for Energy Saving and Emission Reduction in the 1990s, is head of R&D; Rafael Ansón (CEO) and Rodrigo Hernández (COO), R&D managers at Renovalia (2009-2013) with experience in national and international photovoltaic heat production projects; finally Jaime Ruiz-Morales, with proven commercial experience in the development of new creative and communication projects, is in charge of commercial management; Jesús García de Ponga and Jorge Santos bring their multi-sector legal and financial experience.

TCT RED R01 It also has several certificates, among which the Solar Keymark stands out, thanks to tests at the National Renewable Energy Center (CENER), and the ICC-SRCC (Solar Rating & Certification Corporation) certificate, which demonstrate the compliance of TCT RED with European standards and North American performance and durability standards respectively.
