Tetra Pod is a 64 m2 prefabricated house, raised 40 cm from the ground, built with wood, steel, glass and recycled materials.

Following the success of their first prototype, they announce the presale of the Tetra Pod construction plans. An important and primary pillar of Stilt Studios is to bring unique designs with a strong focus on reducing environmental impact to all stakeholders around the world.

The contemporary pitched roof design channels rainwater through the designed structural system, which is then stored for later use such as irrigation of the surrounding garden.

Through the openings under the roof, the building seeks to improve passive cooling. On only 64m2 there is a comfortable bedroom, a bathroom, an open kitchen and a living room, as well as outdoor terraces.

The nine-point foundation raises the Tetra Pod 40cm above the ground, providing the perfect height for sitting on the porch.

The large front panels can be opened to provide cross ventilation, making the space completely open. Layers of curtains make the house more private. It also introduces a bespoke furniture system to create an inviting space for dining and living.

The Tetra Pod prototype is part of Stilt Studios’ second development in Uluwatu, Bali, Indonesia, a property development that challenges the perspective of guests as well as creators on many levels.

As this is a continuous development as well as continuous learning on their part, they sell a limited number of plans. These plans and instructions contain all the materials needed with sizes and finishes, structural and MEP details, interior drawings and a detailed step-by-step explanation of how to build your Tetra Pod.
