Panasonic’s new black photovoltaic panels are smaller and more powerful

Panasonic Eco Systems North America, a division of Panasonic Corporation of North America, has launched two new lines of compact all-black EverVolt solar modules.

The new panels 430W/420W HK Black Serieswith half-cut cells and heterojunction technology with slotless connections, deliver the most powerful modules in the company’s portfolio.

And adding to Panasonic’s suite of modules manufactured with Passivated Emitter Back Contact (PERC) technology, the new modules 400W/390W VK Black Series offer a wider range of solar options at a more affordable price.

Homeowners can benefit from increased energy production throughout the day, even on the hottest days in the hottest climates, thanks to the modules industry-leading temperature coefficient of 0.26%/ ° c.

With one of the lowest annual degradation rates in the industry, Panasonic photovoltaic panels are expected to provide at least 92% energy production in the 25th year after installation.

Both new models are backed by Panasonic’s EverVolt AllGuard All System warranty when purchased with EverVolt ESS 2.0, which covers solar panels and battery storage when bundled together. The EverVolt AllGuard All system warranty covers product performance and labor on all major system components, including 25-year coverage for Panasonic solar panels, 25-year racking system, inverter 10 years and 10 years for the Panasonic EverVolt 2.0 ESS. If purchased separately from the EverVolt ESS 2.0, the modules are covered by Panasonic’s Triple Guard and AllGuard warranties.

Both series of modules will be available in Spring 2023. EverVolt ESS 2.0 will begin shipping in January 2023.
