HORSE, the machine that transforms organic waste into electricity and fertilizer

The machine that many of us have dreamed of, an in situ energy production system from organic and food waste. It also produces fertilizers. So with your organic waste you can, on the one hand, generate energy and, on the other hand, produce ecological fertilizer, does anyone give more?

HORSE makes it possible to recycle 25 tonnes of organic waste per yearproducing with them: 20,440 liters of ecological fertilizer and 37 MWh of energy.

This machine helps conserve local resources, reduce the need for agrochemicals for crops, and provide the local community with a post-consumer food life cycle.

Horse changes the way we look at waste management, since everything organic waste now becomes a resource.

It uses the lifecycle to reduce waste, reduce energy consumption, reduce traffic and transportation intensity, and keep the jobs and money associated with business transactions within each community.

This machine broke the complexity and cost hitherto found in other anaerobic digestion systems, a process in which microorganisms break down biodegradable materials in the absence of oxygen.

The system works completely off-grid and does not need any connection for its operation, it is completely autonomous. It can be delivered on a trailer to be transported to events and parties.

HORSE allows you to achieve energy sovereignty and make the most of your resources.

Benefits of the system.

  • The ability to simultaneously reduce the costs of waste disposal, recycling and electricity generation.
  • System based on minimum space requirements.
  • Quick to implement to replace diesel generation systems and easily expandable.
  • Production of electricity and heat on site, or other forms of energy (electricity, hot water, etc.).
  • It can process leftover food, meat, fat, oil, all edible liquids, seafood, dairy products, starch, sugar, fruits, vegetables, small bones, napkins, kitchen paper or eggshells, and alcohol.

How it works.

The system is portable and is supplied in one piece. The only installation required is to make a water and electricity connection before putting the installation into service.

The process begins with the collection of food scraps, edible liquids, or fats and oils into a large sink for examination and pre-grinding. This grinds things like meat, fish, fruits, and vegetables into bite-size pieces. The system has a mixing and feeding system that operates automatically, so labor cost is minimal. Simply check temperature, mix, liquid level, pressure, gas storage and battery status when powering up the system.

This bioenergy system is discharged by gravity and hydraulic displacement. The microdigester also has pressurized gas storage, which is pumped using a water-based regulating system.

The unit is equipped with odor control designed not only to capture and prevent odors, but also to treat exhaust ventilation air using biochar, biofiltration and neutralization. The resulting compost is then treated to improve biotics for better plant growth.

The company manufactures and sells bioenergy systems that convert organic waste into renewable natural gas and zero-waste fertilizer. Impact Bioenergy has two systems: The HORSE 25 series with a processing capacity of 60 kg of waste per day and the NAUTILUS 185 series with a processing capacity of 450 to 2200 kg per day.
